A Future Plants into from Marco Fransen on the Netherlands. This is a dwarf variety of Ligularia, reaching a height of only 20". Because it is a tetraploid, the flowers are truly substantial with dark buds opening to bright yellow flowers in midsummer. Best grown in cool, moist locations in part shade, like the edge of a pond.
