This magnolia was bred for a late spring bloom to prevent frost damage to the delicate flowers. Deep purplish-red saucer-shaped flowers blanket this tree, followed by dark green leaves. Requires very little maintenance and is easy to grow. One of 8 hybrids in THE GIRLS SERIES bred by the US National Arboretum.

Yellow blooms cover the branches in early spring before the tree leafs out. Best grown in neutral to acidic soil. Tolerates full sun and does best with some afternoon shade in extreme heat. Upright and pyramidal shape. Blooms are a canary yellow and 4-5" wide. Dark green leaves emerge after blooming season, staying attractive for the rest of the season. Lemon-like fragrance while in bloom. Does best in well-drained soil.

Pink buds open to incredibly full and wonderfully fragrant pale pink flowers in spring. Centennial Blush is a prolific bloomer with flower buds formed at almost every node yielding a fantastic floral display of delicate pink covering the entire plant. Attractive medium green foliage on an interesting branching structure follows in the summer turning yellow to bronze in autumn. Can be grown as a large shrub or a small tree, perfectly perfectly suited for small urban gardens.

A profusion of large, white starry shaped flowers bloom in spring with a light fragrance. The dense upright, oval form holds rich-green foliage. A beautiful ornamental tree.
