This tree is an improvement on the standard kentucky coffeetree. It exhibits more branching and more buds to make a fuller tree, even at a young age. New growth is finer textured in twigs, branches, and leaflets. This variety produces only male flowers and has not shown tendency to fruit. Cleaner than Kentucky Coffeetree.

Kentucky Coffeetree
An absolutely beautiful, hardy, slow to medium growing shade tree. Leaves emerge pinkish, turn dark green in summer and golden yellow in fall. Coarse branches form a broad rounded canopy. Yellowish flowers in late spring produce dark pods.
