A narrow, pyramidal tree. Somewhat coarse, gray green, aromatic foilage. Dark blue berries need 2 years to ripen. Valued for use as screens, hedges, backgrounds and foundation plants.

Andorra Youngstown Juniper

A compact, slightly mounding juniper with low spreading branches clothed by gray green foliage that takes on a plum cast in winter.

Arcadia Juniper

Feathery textured bright green foliage on a dense upward and outward spreading branches forming a compact flat topped to mounding juniper.

The form is only matched by the silvery blue of the foliage. Even from a distance, this tree's color is noticed by visitors to the garden. In its native habitat, rocky mountain junipers survive with only 10 inches of rainfall a year.

Popular spreader with beautiful green foliage in a symmetrically spreading mound. Dark green foliage on heaping horizontal, dense branches, creates a dense, rounded ground cover. A good choice for a large scale groundcover, such as a slopes or foundation planting.

Taylor Juniper

Great for formal vertical accents or privacy hedging. Foliage is blue-green, and tends to be softer, more dense and more vertical than similar junipers.

Tolleson's Blue Weeping Juniper

Unusual form for a Juniper with a very pendulous, weeping habit. Best used as a specimen. This Juniper looks delicate but in fact it is quite tough.

Woodward Juniper

Developed and introduced by Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery from a selection made at the Cheyenne Experimental Station that has never been widely available in the trade. Very columnar, but unlike many forms does not exhibit the typical multi-leader type growth indicative of columnar forms of juniper. Branches tend to develop witches' broom-type growth. Hardy to -40°F Maximum Elevation: 8,000 ft.
