Fox Valley® Dwarf River Birch

Heritage® Birch

Lighter bark color than River Birch, ranging from tan to creamy white to parchment white. Vigorous grower in clump form. Tolerates wet, poorly drained soil. Resistant to bronze birch borer. Exfoliating bark.

Parkland Pillar® Birch

Parkland Pillar is a selection of Dakota Pinnacle discovered at Parkland Nursery in Alberta and introduced by Jeffries Nurseries. Parkland Pillar is much more narrow, upright, and dense in habit. Known to be a fast growing variety that is perfect suited as a garden specimen or for screening or boulevards. Tolerant of heat, drought, & alkaline soils. Parkland Pillar's adaptability and columnar shape makes it an excellent choice for the urban landscape.

Eastern River Birch

Pyramidal to oval headed clump form tree in youth then rounded at maturity. Exfoliating bark exposes grayish-brown to cinnamon-brown inner bark.

Royal Frost® Birch

This birch has the best from both of its parents. From 'Whitespire' it inherited beautiful white bark and resistance to the bronze birch borer. From 'Crimson Frost' comes burgundy-red foliage. The combination of two colors makes this an outstanding specimen tree. Much faster growing than 'Crimson Frost'. Thrives in moist soil. Winter water is crucial.

Trost's Dwarf Birch

Dwarf shrub with finely textured, bright green leaves on weeping branches. Golden fall foliage. Also grown as a top grafted patio tree.

Young's Weeping White Birch

Branches are slender and perfectly pendulous. Truly spectacular with age. Excellent specimen for any garden.
