A beautiful and useful native prairie grass. The foliage is blue turning to shades of bronze, purple, and orange in the fall. Seed heads will normally hold all winter. Very adaptable to many soil and moisture conditions faced in Colorado Gardening.

Narrow, upright, sturdy blue-green blades with orange-pink overtones in fall and fluffy silver- beige seedheads in summer/fall. Erosion control/restoration warm-season grass tolerates poor soil, heat, humidity and dry areas. Cut to ground level in early spring. Hardy to -40°F Maximum Elevation: 9,000 ft.
